Last Updated

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the DiJulio Law Group website located at www.dijuliolawgroup.com. By accessing or using this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site immediately. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Site.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the DiJulio Law Group website (the "Site"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and any other policies referenced herein. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DiJulio Law Group ("the Firm," "we," "our," or "us").

Your continued use of the Site following any modification to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of those modifications. If you are accessing the Site on behalf of a business or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

Eligibility

The Site is intended for use by individuals who are at least 18 years of age. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you are under the age of 18, you may not use this Site without the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

No Attorney-Client Relationship

Important: Use of this Site, submission of a contact form, sending an email, or any other communication through this website does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and DiJulio Law Group or any of its attorneys.

An attorney-client relationship is established only when: (1) you have submitted a request for representation; (2) the Firm has conducted a conflict-of-interest review; (3) the Firm has agreed to represent you; and (4) you and the Firm have executed a written engagement agreement specifying the scope of representation, fees, and other material terms.

Until all of those conditions are satisfied, you should not rely on any communication from the Firm as legal advice, and no communication from you to the Firm will be treated as privileged or confidential in the manner that applies to attorney-client communications.

Unsolicited Information

Do not submit confidential, sensitive, or privileged information through the Site unless and until a formal attorney-client relationship has been established in writing. The Firm cannot guarantee confidentiality of information submitted before an engagement agreement is in place. Submission of unsolicited information does not impose any obligation on the Firm to hold such information in confidence or to refrain from representing clients with adverse interests.

No Legal Advice

All content published on this Site — including articles, blog posts, practice area descriptions, case study summaries, FAQs, attorney profiles, and all other written materials — is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this Site constitutes legal advice, and no content should be construed as such.

General Information Only

The legal information provided on this Site reflects general principles of California and federal law as of the dates of publication. Laws, regulations, court decisions, and agency interpretations change frequently. Information that was accurate at the time of publication may no longer reflect current law.

Legal outcomes depend heavily on the specific facts and circumstances of each matter. General information about the law cannot substitute for the advice of a qualified attorney who has reviewed your specific situation. You should not act or refrain from acting based on information on this Site without first consulting a licensed attorney.

Past Results

Any references to prior case results, settlements, or client outcomes on this Site are provided for illustrative purposes only. Past results do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome in any future matter. Every legal matter is unique, and results in prior cases do not indicate what results may be achieved in your matter.

Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including but not limited to text, articles, blog posts, graphics, photographs, logos, icons, design elements, page layouts, and the overall look and feel of the Site — is the exclusive property of DiJulio Law Group or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limited License

The Firm grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site and its content solely for your personal, non-commercial informational purposes. This license does not include the right to:

  • Reproduce, copy, or distribute any content from the Site without prior written authorization from the Firm
  • Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on Site content
  • Use the Site or its content for any commercial purpose or for any public display
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
  • Use data mining, robots, scrapers, or similar data gathering tools on the Site

Trademarks

The DiJulio Law Group name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of DiJulio Law Group. You may not use these marks without the prior written permission of the Firm. All other trademarks, service marks, and trade names on the Site are the property of their respective owners.

Copyright Complaints

If you believe that any content on the Site infringes upon your copyright, please contact us in writing with the details of the alleged infringement. We take intellectual property matters seriously and will respond to properly submitted notices in accordance with applicable law.

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Site. You are expressly prohibited from:

Prohibited Conduct

  • Using the Site in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation

  • Engaging in any conduct that restricts or inhibits the use or enjoyment of the Site by any other person
  • Introducing viruses, trojans, worms, or other malicious code to the Site
  • Using automated means to access, scrape, or index the Site without the Firm's prior written consent
  • Using the Site to harass, defame, threaten, or otherwise harm any individual or entity

Reservation of Rights

The Firm reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate or restrict your access to the Site at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms, without notice or liability to you.

  • All information you provide is accurate, complete, and not misleading
  • You have the legal right to submit the information you provide

  • Your submission does not contain content that is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, or otherwise objectionable

No Obligation to Respond

The Firm is under no obligation to respond to any inquiry, consultation request, or communication submitted through the Site. Receipt of a submission does not create any obligation on the part of the Firm to provide legal services, enter into an attorney-client relationship, or respond in any particular timeframe.

Conflicts of Interest

By submitting an inquiry, you acknowledge that the Firm may already represent, or may in the future represent, parties with interests adverse to you. The Firm's ability to communicate with you and the use of any information you submit may be limited by applicable professional responsibility rules governing conflicts of interest.

Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to websites operated by third parties, including government agencies, courts, legal research databases, professional organizations, and other resources. These links are provided solely for convenience and informational purposes and do not constitute an endorsement by the Firm of any third-party website, its content, or the products or services offered thereon.

The Firm has no control over the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party websites and assumes no responsibility for them. When you leave the Site by following a link to a third-party website, you do so at your own risk and subject to the terms and conditions of that website. We encourage you to review the terms of use and privacy policies of any third-party websites you visit.

Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, MATERIALS, INFORMATION, AND SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH THE SITE ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

The Firm does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. The Firm does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any content or information on the Site.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DIJULIO LAW GROUP, ITS ATTORNEYS, STAFF, AFFILIATES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE OR ANY CONTENT THEREON, EVEN IF THE FIRM HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

In no event shall the Firm's total liability to you for all claims arising from your use of the Site exceed the greater of one hundred dollars ($100.00) or the amount you paid to the Firm in the three months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DiJulio Law Group and its attorneys, staff, affiliates, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Site, including any information you submit to the Site.

Accuracy of Information

The Firm endeavors to provide accurate and current information on the Site. However, the legal landscape changes frequently, and information published on this Site may not reflect the most recent developments in the law. The Firm makes no representation or warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or current applicability of any information published on the Site.

No Guarantee of Outcomes

Information about the Firm's practice areas, attorney experience, or prior results does not guarantee or suggest a particular outcome in any matter. Legal results depend on the specific facts of each situation, the applicable law, the court or tribunal involved, and many other factors that cannot be predicted in advance.

Attorney Advertising

This website may constitute attorney advertising under the rules of the State Bar of California and other applicable professional responsibility rules. The Firm complies with all applicable advertising rules, including those prohibiting false or misleading communications about legal services. Prior results described on this Site do not guarantee a similar outcome.

Advertising & Solicitation Rules

DiJulio Law Group is licensed to practice law in the State of California and is subject to the California Rules of Professional Conduct and the rules of the State Bar of California governing attorney advertising and solicitation.

California Compliance

This website is designed to comply with California's attorney advertising requirements. The Firm does not engage in in-person solicitation of prospective clients in circumstances prohibited by the California Rules of Professional Conduct. Nothing on this Site should be construed as a solicitation in jurisdictions where such solicitation is prohibited or where the Firm is not licensed to practice law.

Jurisdictional Limitations

DiJulio Law Group is licensed to practice law in California. Nothing on this Site should be interpreted as an offer to provide legal services in jurisdictions other than California, or in any matter that would require licensure in another jurisdiction that the Firm does not hold. If you have a legal matter outside of California, the Firm may be able to assist you in identifying appropriate local counsel.

Confidentiality of Communications

Communications transmitted over the Internet, including email and contact form submissions, may not be secure. By contacting the Firm through the Site, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of electronic communication, including the possibility of interception or unauthorized access by third parties.

If your matter is time-sensitive or involves highly confidential information, please contact the Firm directly by telephone at (818) 502-1700 rather than through the Site's contact form or email. Do not submit financial account information, Social Security numbers, or similarly sensitive identifying information through the contact form.

Pre-Engagement Communications

As noted above, communications with the Firm prior to the establishment of a formal attorney-client relationship are not protected by the attorney-client privilege, though the Firm will treat such communications with appropriate professional discretion. Once an engagement agreement is executed, all communications in connection with that representation are subject to the full protections of the attorney-client privilege and the duty of confidentiality.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or your use thereof shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you hereby consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.

Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact the Firm in writing and provide a reasonable opportunity — not less than thirty (30) days — to resolve the dispute informally. This requirement does not apply where immediate relief is necessary to prevent irreparable harm.

Waiver of Jury Trial

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AND DIJULIO LAW GROUP EACH WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL IN ANY ACTION, PROCEEDING, OR CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SITE.

Modifications to These Terms

The Firm reserves the right to revise these Terms and Conditions at any time and without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Site. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the date of the most recent revision.

It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of any changes constitutes your binding acceptance of those changes. If any modification is unacceptable to you, your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the Site.

Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if such modification is not possible, severed from these Terms, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by the Firm on the Site, constitute the entire agreement between you and DiJulio Law Group concerning the Site and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, whether written or oral, regarding the Site.

No Waiver

The Firm's failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective only if in writing and signed by an authorized representative of the Firm.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights or obligations hereunder without the prior written consent of the Firm. The Firm may assign these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction.
